I have to say, Aponia is looking more and more like she's connected to Genshin. The entire point of Genshin's story is fighting against fate, which Aponia can either read or control. I don't know exactly since I'm only half way through the story bit, but they seem to be hinting at the very least.

A lot of the general consensus I've seen around youtube and reddit also think the same

Yeah but the theory completely revolves around the inhabitant of Project ARK, and for that the best thing that I could say is that she figured out how to do it with the elements but that is extremely shoddy

I think we still have 2 major questions to answer, and depending on the answer might reflect what exactly happens. The first, is when did the ARK arrive? Did it arrive with the Primordial One or was it the 2nd throne? Both are described as "came" probably as aliens of some kind. Also remember that the 2nd throne caused the destruction of the world. The 2nd big question is, which group is the SoHP (and celesta in general) really associated with? The Primordial One or the 2nd throne? I believe that it is more accepted that she's with the Primordial One, but that might not be the case.

We have hints for the 1st. Before Sun and Moon mentions the word "ark" being open after the Primordial One came, so I believe that it's safe to assume they are indeed the same. The 2nd, is a bit hard to answer because the author of Before Sun and Moon makes it seem like the Primordial One was victorious against the 2nd throne but it isn't clear. Either way, the world had to have been recreated at this point and this is when knowledge became too dangerous.

I believe that the Primordial God created the fake sky and Celestia to protect the world from the Sea of Quanta as it was stated that the world was in stasis if I remember correctly and that sounds like a dying world

Yes they are different people same with the Rins, PE Rin was the holder of the HoC but when she was killed by the soldiers affected by Aponia's discipline which released the HoC
